This morning I got up and called The Boy. Today is his 22nd birthday. 22 years ago I gave birth to the most amazing young man. It as a day that changed my life completely and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Today I got to go to lunch with him We went to Chicago Pizza.
He was so embarrassed that I asked the waitress to take our pictures, but I had to have something to remember the day by.
So, today was the day for me to bite the kitchen. First things first. I got all of the laundry and washed everything, dried everything AND put them away. That is a HUGE deal. While the laundry was “doing” I got to work on the kitchen. The kitchen table was the hardest to go through, but I did I one thing at a time and got through it. Oh and I think I found that “smell”. It was the rug under my kitchen table. Seems it has gotten wet from my Gardena tree pot and once removed the smell went away. So, Here is my kitchen post clean.
Rug has been removed, floors scrubbed twice and table is ready for dinner.
I cleaned the stove and refrigerator. I scrubbed under the stove, beside the refrigerators and the baseboards.
Cabinets are now free of “extra” items and all of the paper.
So, here is my very clean kitchen. Even The Boy mentioned how nice the house looked.
So, now I’m down to the living room and the craft room. I will bite the Living room Monday when I clean the bathrooms again. My craft room might be more difficult. I really have to thing the craft room though. HA
Wow, so much has changed over the past 22 years. I was laying in a bed in a Military hospital while the nurses watched footage on Desert Storm 22 years ago. Tonight I sit at home updating my blog in Tennessee completely single. But that is another elephant to bite.

I like this bite. It looks so clean and there is a sparkle from the light. Can't wait to see the living room and craft room. I just want to give you a hug and thank you for being the best Mother to my grandson. He has turned into the most wonderful man and you helped him do this. I love you both. Mama
